Dewsbury Lantern Parade

In November and December 2021, Edgelands Arts worked with 20 classes from 11 schools in Dewsbury to create a lantern  parade for the town’s Christmas lights switch on. Working with Nursery, Infant, Junior and High School pupils over 500 lanterns were made. We also delivered CPD session for teachers to build lantern making skills for future years. This project was commissioned by the Dewsbury Partnership.
